What: The Burmese Cat Club of NZ

When: Saturday 25th March 2017, 10:30am – 4:00pm

Where: Barber Hall, Waldegrave Street, Palmerston North

The Burmese Cat Club of NZ Inc (Central Region) is holding their 40thshow.  The show is open to all shorthair pedigree breeds, as well as domestic and companion cats.
Six Judges from around NZ and Australia will be officiating at the show.  All cats will be up for the chance of winning a Top 10 award in their class.  There will also be Supreme awards for Best Pedigree, Best Companion and Best Domestic.  Also this year there will be a Moggie of the Year award voted by public choice.

Set in the heart and hub of Kapiti at Te Newhanga Kapiti Community Centre, Fusion is a one-day event that celebrates the best of Kapiti ethnic culture, food and music. Fusion Festival is an amazing event drawing on all ages, ethnicities, sharing and growing cultural diversity in Kapiti.  Up to 20 Cultural/Ethnic Performances and Stalls including Kapiti College/Paraparaumu College and Otaki College!!

Fusion shares and embraces the significance of Neighbours Day Aotearoa (25/26Mar) and Race Relations Day (23Mar).

Where: The Kennel Club , Prosser St, Porirua

Proceeds are towards the Te Ara Piko pathway and Life Education Trust North Wellington. Large number of books for sale at very reasonable prices.

 

 

What: Mt. Victoria Annual Treasure Hunt

When: Sunday 2nd April 2017, 2:00pm – 5:30pm

Where: Mt Vic Hub, 24e Elizabeth St, Wellington

Join us for a fun-filled day of activities around the beautiful suburb of Mount Victoria! Grab your passport, and head out to solve the clues given at various locations and discover all sorts of treasure! We have lots in store for participants this year including a BBQ at the end of the Treasure Hunt so bring your walking shoes, grab your friends and whanau and meet us from 2pm to register and get your Treasure Hunt map. At the end join us for a Community BBQ from 4pm at Innermost Gardens, 31 Lawson Place (top of Majoribanks St).
