Rory McGrath, Dara O’Brian and Griff Rhys-Jones have reunited once again and this time, they have entered a gondola race on Venice’s busiest waterway, the Grand Canal, in front of thousands of tourists. But first, they must get there.

The trio travel up the stunning Dalmatian Coast from Montenegro, fighting against the elements to get to the city of love. They’ll be blending in with the locals, diving, flying and basically blagging their way onto any boat that will take them across borders to one of the greatest cities on earth. 

Along the way, and with the help of Rory’s questionable language skills, the trio find themselves set to work aboard former Yugoslavian leader, Marshal Tito’s boat; honing their Moreska sword dancing skills; charming their way through an exclusive boat show in the hope of blagging a lift on a yacht; shedding clothes passing a nudist colony; learning the art of glass blowing; and finally, discovering they are in the deep end as they try to race a gondola.
