Phil Spencer has made a career helping house hunters find their perfect properties. But now he’s on a whole new mission, using his skills to help those who have fallen on hard times and have nowhere to live.

Around one million homes in the UK are sitting empty – 350,000 of those long term – while two million families are in need of a home.

Phil targets private house owners whose properties have been unoccupied for years, determined to find and refurbish an empty house so at least two homeless men can get a roof over their heads and start getting their lives back on track.
