Who Will Win the Ultimate Accolade?

Presented by award-winning architect Ken Crosson, Best of New Zealand Home Design celebrates New Zealand design success by showcasing ten of the country’s most ambitious and innovative designs.

Each episode features a new and very distinct New Zealand home, representing a fresh and clever perspective. Ken Crosson takes the viewer on a unique trip to see the homes and meet the architects and the teams behind the design.

The series provides a snapshot of a country and its people. The stories of architectural dreams are anything but ordinary and demonstrate how their vision can define us as a nation.

The homes will be selected on how the architect responded to the home owner’s brief, how they utilised the site, architectural interest and integrity and the way they treated materials and light.

Judging also deals with exterior and interior design as well as how an architect managed to adopt and incorporate sustainability into the new home, plus the ambience and overall appeal. In the final episode, a panel of judges is invited to name a winner, who will win a magnificent World Journeys prize trip for two to "The Ancient Med", visiting Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Italy!

The winner of the show will win an amazing world cruise from World Journeys for two, flying with Singapore Airlines to "The Ancient Med", cruising with Holland America Line to Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Croatia and Italy!

You could also win, duting the final episode we will announce the viewer compeition - someone will win their own World Journeys cruise. The best of Northern Europe will take in the beauty of Sweden, Russia, the Netherlands and more.
